Stage Machinery
The Elbphilharmonie – a spectacular building and new landmark for Hamburg – requires its concert halls to meet the highest acoustic, visual, and functional standards. The building was constructed according to plans by Herzog & de Meuron.
The stage technology also demanded high performance. As part of the general contractor team, we planned the execution of stage machinery installations in all concert halls.
This included the podium system in the Grand Hall, the acoustically separated wooden floors on the substructure, the fly system with decoration, spotlight lines, microphone and speaker hoists, as well as the telescopic auditorium seating in the Small Hall.
