Sustainable Renovation of Stage Machinery in the Existing Steel Structure
The Ruhrfestspielhaus represents cultural tradition in the region. Since 1947, the Ruhrfestspiele have been held annually, with numerous other events taking place in the building throughout the year.
The stage machinery required renovation. We planned the systems so that the modernizations could be integrated into the existing steel structure. In this way, the existing resources are preserved sustainably, while the house is equipped with safe, flexible, and modern stage machinery, ensuring that the tradition of the Ruhrfestspiele can continue for many years.
