Stage Technology Planning for Europe’s Largest Cultural Center

The Gasteig in Munich is Europe’s largest cultural center. It houses multiple concert halls and performance venues, a library, an adult education center, and a cinema. The Gasteig has undertaken a comprehensive modernization to prepare for the future. The Munich-based architectural firm Henn has developed a compelling vision to make the Gasteig even more open and versatile.

We support this approach through our stage technology planning. The halls are being equipped with flexible, modern systems that enable a wide variety of performance formats. The planning was executed using the BIM (Building Information Modeling) method. Due to the high level of professionalism in implementing BIM, the project was awarded the BIM Champion 2021 prize in the Planning category.
